The Reliance Jio Monsoon Hungama offer is now online, where the old 2017 version of Jio Phone will be available as part of an exchange system. Under this offer, people can exchange their old phone for a new JioPhone at an effective price of Rs 501. JioPhone users can take advantage of special recharge offers as well as part of the transaction.
The 501 RS paid by the users will be fully repayable after a three-year period, leaving the Jion Phone free, the company says. Jio Hungama’s offer was announced by Mukesh Ambani at the company’s annual general meeting last month, where the JioPhone 2 was also announced. Jio has unveiled a preview for users, which is now online.

The JioPhone Rs 501 offer can be used in offline stores on the exchange of any old 2G / 3G / 4G (non-VOLTE) phone. The old phone must be in working order and the charger must also be there. Those who want to continue their existing number can opt for mobile number portability (MNP). The Monsoon Hungama offer will be activated once the MNP network to Jio is complete.

Reliance Jio has launched a special JioPhone recharge plan as part of its Monsoon Hungama offering. JioPhone customers will need to recharge with Rs 594 at the time of activation to receive unlimited voice and data calls for six months.
A special exchange bonus of a good 6 GB data worth Rs 101 has also been unveiled for JioPhone users. Note that people who decide to exchange JioPhone will also need to charge Rs 594.

Those interested in the Monsoon Hungama offer must ensure that their old mobile phone is in working order without damaged or missing parts or broken / burned parts. Phones that have been sold in the last three and a half years or January 1, 2015 will be eligible for the exchange.
All 2G, 3G, 4G (non-VOLTE), JioPhone or CDMA devices or devices locked by the operator are not eligible for an exchange offer. Note that only the battery and the charger with the phone are needed for the exchange.
